Interior Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and functional interior spaces that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.
Responsibilities:
– Design and develop interior spaces, including floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections
– Conduct site analyses and assessments to determine design requirements
– Research and select materials, finishes, and furniture for interior spaces
– Develop and present design concepts and proposals to clients
– Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity
– Manage and coordinate design projects from concept to completion
– Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
– Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
Requirements and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
– Professional certification (NCIDQ, LEED AP, or equivalent)
– Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong knowledge of design principles, theories, and practices
– Proficient in CAD software (Autodesk Revit, SketchUp) and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with sustainable design and green building principles
– Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) and 3D modeling
– Familiarity with accessibility standards and universal design principles
– Experience working with diverse client groups and stakeholders
– Strong project management and organizational skills
