Senior Education Counselor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Education Counselor to provide expert guidance and support to students, families, and educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for counseling students on academic and career pathways, developing educational plans, and fostering partnerships with educational institutions.

Responsibilities:

– Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, families, and educators
– Assess students’ academic and career goals, interests, and strengths
– Develop and implement personalized educational plans
– Collaborate with educators to identify student needs and develop strategies

Requirements and Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in education, Counseling, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in education counseling or related field
– Strong knowledge of educational systems, policies, and best practices
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Familiarity with career assessment tools and educational software

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience working with diverse student populations
– Familiarity with college and career readiness programs
– Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
– Bilingual or multilingual skills
– Certification in education counseling or related field
