Sports Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Teacher to join our Physical Education department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching sports and physical education to students of various ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
– Plan, teach, and assess sports and physical education lessons
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula
– Conduct team sports, individual sports, and fitness activities
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Encourage student participation and teamwork
– Provide constructive feedback and assessment

Requirements and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in physical education, Sports Science, or related field
– Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.)
– 2+ years of teaching experience
– Strong knowledge of sports and physical education pedagogy
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
– Ability to work with diverse student populations
– First aid and CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in physical education, Sports Science, or related field
– Coaching or refereeing qualifications
– Experience with sports management software
– Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment
– Experience working with students with special needs
