Spoken English Instructor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spoken English Instructor to teach English language skills to students of various ages and proficiency levels. The successful candidate will create a supportive and engaging learning environment, fostering students’ confidence and fluency in spoken English.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach spoken English classes to individuals or groups
2. Develop and implement lesson plans, curricula, and assessments
3. Conduct conversations, discussions, and role-plays
4. Provide feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary
5. Encourage student participation and engagement
6. Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop instructional materials
8. Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or related field
2. TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification
3. 2+ years of experience teaching English as a second language
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills
5. Familiarity with language learning methodologies
6. Ability to work with diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, or related field
2. Experience teaching spoken English to various age groups
3. Familiarity with language assessment tools and software
4. Knowledge of cultural differences and language nuances
5. Certification in language testing and assessment
