Sports Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sports Teacher to join our Physical Education department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching sports and physical education to students of various age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

1. Teach sports and physical education to students of various age groups and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula.
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental goals and objectives.
5. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
6. Maintain classroom discipline and decorum.
7. Communicate with parents and guardians.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s/master’s degree in physical education or related field.
2. Teaching certification or diploma.
3. 2+ years of teaching experience.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to teach diverse learners.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in physical education or related field.
2. Experience teaching in a similar educational setting.
3. Coaching or refereeing experience.
4. Certification in first aid and CPR.
