Hostel Warden
Job Summary:
Supervise and ensure the well-being and safety of hostel residents, maintaining a secure, clean, and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor hostel premises and enforce rules and regulations
2. Provide pastoral care and support to residents
3. Manage room allocations and check-ins/check-outs
4. Maintain hostel cleanliness and organization
5. Handle emergencies and incidents
6. Collaborate with management and staff
7. Organize events and activities
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
Requirements:
1. Relevant experience in hospitality or education
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work flexibly, including nights and weekends
4. Basic first aid and crisis management training
5. Background check
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Degree in Hospitality, Education, or related field
2. Certification in First Aid, CPR, or Crisis Management
3. Experience working with youth or vulnerable populations
4. Knowledge of hostel operations and management
5. Additional language skills
