MATHS TEACHER
Job Summary:
We seek an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will deliver engaging math’s lessons, foster a love for mathematics, and support students’ academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
1. Plan and deliver math’s lessons to various age groups and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement curriculum aligned with national standards.
3. Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Classroom Management:
1. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
2. Establish and maintain discipline, following school policies.
3. Manage classroom resources and equipment.
Student Support:
1. Provide individualized support and guidance.
2. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
3. Foster student confidence and motivation.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Work with colleagues to integrate math’s across disciplines.
2. Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
3. Participate in department meetings and professional development.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Maths or related field.
2. Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
3. Experience teaching maths to various age groups.
4. Strong knowledge of maths concepts and pedagogy.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Maths or Education.
2. Experience with educational technology.
3. Familiarity with maths competitions or Olympiads.
4. Leadership or mentoring experience.
