Biology Teacher
Job Summary:
We seek a passionate and experienced Biology Teacher to inspire students’ curiosity and understanding of the natural world. The successful candidate will deliver engaging biology lessons, fostering academic excellence and scientific literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
1. Teach biology to students of various ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
3. Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Laboratory Management:
1. Prepare and supervise laboratory experiments.
2. Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed.
3. Maintain laboratory equipment and resources.
Student Support:
1. Provide individualized support and guidance.
2. Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and scientific literacy.
3. Foster student confidence and motivation.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Work with colleagues to integrate science across disciplines.
2. Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
3. Participate in department meetings and professional development.
Requirements:
_Essential Qualifications: *
1. Bachelor’s degree in biology, Life Sciences, or related field.
2. Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
3. Experience teaching biology to various age groups.
4. Strong knowledge of biology concepts and pedagogy.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

1. Master’s degree in Biology or Education.
2. Experience with educational technology.

Responsibilities by Level:
Primary Level:
– Teach biology to students aged 5-11.

– Teach biology to students aged 11-16.
– Focus on cellular biology, genetics, and ecology.
Senior Level:
– Teach biology to students aged 16-18.
– Focus on advanced topics, such as biochemistry and biotechnology.
