Job Summary:
We seek a qualified and enthusiastic Urdu Language Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Urdu lessons, fostering language proficiency and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
1. Teach Urdu language and literature to students of various ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
3. Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Language and Cultural Development:
1. Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Urdu.
2. Foster cultural awareness and appreciation of Urdu literature.
3. Encourage critical thinking and language analysis.
Classroom Management:
1. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
2. Establish and maintain discipline, following school policies.
3. Manage classroom resources and equipment.
Student Support:
1. Provide individualized support and guidance.
2. Encourage student confidence and motivation.
3. Support students with language learning difficulties.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Work with colleagues to integrate languages across disciplines.
2. Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
3. Participate in department meetings and professional development.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Urdu Language and Literature or related field.
2. Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
3. Experience teaching Urdu to various age groups.
4. Strong knowledge of Urdu language, literature, and pedagogy.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Urdu or Education.
2. Experience with educational technology.
3. Familiarity with language learning methodologies.
4. Leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities by Level:
Primary Level:

Senior Level:
– Teach Urdu to students aged 16-18.
– Focus on advanced language skills, literature, and cultural analysis.
