Assistant Manager Accounts
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager Accounts assists the Accounts Manager in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses.
2. Accounting Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify potential risks.
5. Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
6. Audits and Reviews: Coordinate with external auditors and respond to audit queries.
7. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Professional Certification: CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a management role.
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
4. Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
