Area Education Manager

Job Summary:

The Area Education Manager will be responsible for leading and managing educational programs and services within a designated geographic area. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of educational principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership:

Provide leadership and direction to educational staff within the designated area.

1. Program Management:

Manage and oversee educational programs and services, including curriculum development, instructional design, and program evaluation.

1. Staff Development:

Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to educational staff.

1. Community Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to promote educational programs and services.

1. Budget Management:

Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of educational programs and services.

1. Data Analysis:

Analyze data and metrics to inform educational program development and improvement.

1. Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing educational programs and services.

Requirements:

1. Education:

Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field.

1. Experience:

At least 5-7 years of experience in educational leadership, program management, or a related field.

1. Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform program development and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Doctoral Degree:

Doctoral degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field.

1. Certification:

Certification in educational leadership, program management, or a related field.

1. Experience working with diverse populations:

Experience working with diverse populations, including students with disabilities, English language learners, and students from low-income backgrounds.
