IELTS Instructor
Job Summary:
The IELTS Instructor will be responsible for teaching IELTS preparation courses to students. The successful candidate will have excellent teaching and communication skills, a strong understanding of the IELTS exam format and content, and the ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching:
Teach IELTS preparation courses to students, including lessons on reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
1. Lesson Planning:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the IELTS exam format and content.
1. Student Assessment:
Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance.
1. Material Development:
Develop and update IELTS preparation materials, including textbooks, worksheets, and online resources.
1. Student Support:
Provide individual support to students, including advice on IELTS exam strategies and techniques.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience teaching English as a second language, preferably with experience teaching IELTS preparation courses.
1. Skills:
Excellent teaching and communication skills.
Strong understanding of the IELTS exam format and content.
Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
1. IELTS Certification:
Certification in IELTS instruction, such as the Cambridge IELTS Teacher Training Certificate.
1. Experience with Online Teaching:
Experience teaching online, preferably with experience using online learning platforms and tools.
