Art Teacher
Job Summary:
The Art Teacher will be responsible for teaching art classes to students, developing lesson plans, and evaluating student progress. The successful candidate will have excellent teaching and communication skills, a strong passion for art, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching:
Teach art classes to students, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art techniques.
1. Lesson Planning:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
1. Student Assessment:
Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on their artwork.
1. Classroom Management:
Create and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment that promotes student learning and creativity.
1. Material Preparation:
Prepare art materials and supplies, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience teaching art classes, preferably in a school setting.
1. Skills:
Excellent teaching and communication skills.
Strong passion for art and ability to inspire and motivate students.
Ability to work with diverse learners and adapt to different learning styles.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
1. Certification:
Certification in Art Education or a related field.
1. Experience with Technology:
Experience with art software and technology, including graphic design and digital art programs.
