Head Master
Job Summary:
The Head Master will provide strategic leadership and vision to the school, ensuring academic excellence, student well-being, and community engagement. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong passion for education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership and vision to the school, aligning with the school’s mission and values.
1. Academic Excellence:
Oversee the development and implementation of academic programs, ensuring academic excellence and rigor.
1. Student Well-being:
Ensure the well-being and safety of students, including overseeing student support services and pastoral care.
1. Community Engagement:
Foster positive relationships with the school community, including parents, teachers, and alumni.
1. Operational Management:
Oversee the operational management of the school, including finance, facilities, and human resources.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 5-7 years of experience in educational leadership, including experience as a principal, headmaster, or senior administrator.
1. Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Doctoral Degree:
Doctoral degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
1. Certification:
Certification in educational leadership, such as the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) certification.
1. Experience with Accreditation:
Experience with accreditation processes, such as those conducted by the Council of International Schools (CIS) or the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
