Junior Clerk
Job Summary:
The Junior Clerk will provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and reception duties. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry:
Enter data into computer systems, including spreadsheets and databases.
1. Filing:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, including physical and electronic files.
1. Reception:
Provide reception duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
1. Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing documents, making photocopies, and sending faxes.
1. Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including personnel files, financial records, and other administrative documents.
Requirements:
1. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
1. Experience:
0-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
1. Skills:
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Post-Secondary Education:
Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field.
1. Certification:
Certification in administrative assistance, such as the Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA) designation.
1. Experience with Software:
Experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
