House Maintenance Officer

Job Summary:

The House Maintenance Officer will be responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep and maintenance of the house, including performing repairs, renovations, and ensuring the house is safe and secure. The successful candidate will have excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs to the house, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

1. Renovations and Improvements:

Assist with renovations and improvements to the house, including planning, budgeting, and executing projects.

1. Safety and Security:

Ensure the house is safe and secure, including performing regular safety checks, maintaining fire safety equipment, and responding to emergencies.

1. Cleaning and Organization:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the house, including performing routine cleaning tasks and organizing storage areas.

1. Communication:

Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and contractors, including providing updates on maintenance and repairs, and responding to inquiries.

Requirements:

1. Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1. Experience:

At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, repairs, or a related field.

1. Skills:

Excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Trade Certification:

Certification in a trade, such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.

1. Experience with Building Management:

Experience with building management software and systems.

1. First Aid Certification:

Certification in first aid and CPR.
