Registrar
Job Summary:
The Registrar is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar oversees the management of student academic records, coordinates course scheduling and registration, and ensures compliance with academic policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Records:
– Oversee the maintenance and management of student academic records, including transcripts, diplomas, and degree verifications.
– Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of student academic records.
1. Course Scheduling and Registration:
– Coordinate course scheduling and registration processes.
– Ensure efficient use of academic resources, including classrooms and faculty.
1. Academic Policy and Procedure:
– Interpret and implement academic policies and procedures.
– Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as institutional policies.
1. Student Services:
– Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
– Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to academic records, course scheduling, and registration.
1. Leadership and Management:
– Provide leadership and guidance to the Office of the Registrar staff.
– Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Requirements:
1. Education:
– Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or a related field.
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be considered with significant experience.
1. Experience:
– At least 5 years of experience in higher education administration, preferably in a registrar’s office or a related field.
– Experience with student information systems, degree audit software, and other technologies related to academic records and registration.

– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
