Research Assistant
Job Summary:
The Research Assistant is a key member of the research team responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and analysis of research studies. The Research Assistant will work closely with the Principal Investigator/Research Supervisor to collect and analyze data, conduct literature reviews, and assist with the dissemination of research findings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Management:
Assist with the collection, entry, and management of research data.
Conduct interviews, surveys, and other data collection methods as required.
Ensure data quality and integrity.
1. Data Analysis:
Assist with the analysis of research data, including statistical analysis and interpretation.
Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings.
Assist with the development of research reports and manuscripts.
1. Research Design and Implementation:
Assist with the design and implementation of research studies.
Develop and implement data collection tools and protocols.
Assist with the recruitment and retention of study participants.
1. Dissemination of Research Findings:
Assist with the dissemination of research findings, including the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
Assist with the development of research posters and other visual aids.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, biology, sociology).
Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field preferred.
1. Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a research setting.
Experience with data collection and analysis, literature reviews, and research report writing.
1. Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R) and Microsoft Office.
