Registrar

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registrar to oversee the management of student records, registration, and academic policies. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of student records, while providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Records Management

– Oversee the creation, maintenance, and retention of student records, including transcripts, diplomas, and other academic documents.
– Ensure compliance with FERPA regulations and other laws related to student records.

Registration and Enrollment

– Coordinate the registration process, including course scheduling, student enrollment, and fee payment.
– Resolve registration issues and provide guidance to students, faculty, and staff.

Academic Policies and Procedures

– Interpret and implement academic policies and procedures, including degree requirements, transfer credits, and academic standing.
– Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and revise academic policies and procedures.

Reporting and Analytics

– Generate reports and analytics on student enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.
– Provide data-driven insights to inform institutional decision-making.

Customer Service

– Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

Education

– Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as higher education administration, student affairs, or records management.
– Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

– At least 3-5 years of experience in a registrar’s office or related field.
– Experience with student information systems (SIS) and other software applications.

Skills

– Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
