Assistant Professor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an outstanding scholar and educator to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to departmental and university service.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and Scholarship
– Develop and maintain an active research program in the field
– Publish research in top-tier academic journals
– Present research at conferences and seminars
– Secure external funding to support research activities
Teaching and Mentoring
– Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the department
– Develop and teach new courses in area of expertise
– Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students
– Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
Service
– Serve on departmental, college, and university committees
– Participate in departmental and university events
– Contribute to the development of the department and university
Requirements:
Education
– Earned doctoral degree in the relevant field
– Relevant postdoctoral experience preferred
Experience
– At least 2 years of experience in research and teaching
– Proven track record of research productivity and teaching effectiveness
Skills
– Excellent research, teaching, and communication skills
