Key Responsibilities:

- Research and Scholarship:
- Conducting Research: Engage in scholarly research in areas related to English literature, linguistics, language acquisition, or other fields within English studies. Publish research findings in academic journals, books, and conferences.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of new trends, theories, and methodologies in English language and literature. Continuously update teaching materials based on current research and developments in the field.

- Curriculum and Program Development:
- Curriculum Design: Contribute to the development of the English department’s curriculum, ensuring it is comprehensive, up-to-date, and aligned with academic standards and institutional goals.
- Innovation in Teaching: Implement innovative teaching strategies such as digital tools, collaborative projects, and interdisciplinary approaches to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Administrative Duties:
- Faculty Meetings: Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and other academic governance activities. Collaborate with colleagues in making decisions regarding curriculum updates, policy changes, and department initiatives.
- Student Records: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Ensure compliance with academic policies and procedures.
