Clinical Physiotherapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis
– Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses.
– Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
Treatment and Intervention
– Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including exercise, manual therapy, and education.
– Utilize specialized equipment and technology to enhance treatment outcomes.
Patient Education and Support
– Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-management strategies, and health promotion.
– Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families as needed.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
Quality Improvement and Professional Development
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
– Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in physiotherapy.
Requirements:
Education
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program.
– Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
Experience
– At least 2 years of experience in clinical physiotherapy, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.
– Experience working with diverse patient populations and conditions.
Skills
– Excellent clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
– Work in a clinical setting, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, or community health centers.
