Chemistry Professor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chemistry Professor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate chemistry courses, conduct research, and participate in departmental and university service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching:
Teach undergraduate and graduate chemistry courses, including lectures, labs, and seminars.
Develop and deliver course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assignments.
Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
1. Research:
Conduct original research in chemistry, resulting in publications in reputable academic journals.
Secure external funding to support research activities.
Mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research projects.
1. Service:
Participate in departmental, faculty, and university service, including committee work and administrative tasks.
Engage in outreach and community service activities to promote chemistry and academic excellence.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
1. Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of postdoctoral research experience.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
1. Skills:
Excellent teaching, research, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of chemistry principles, theories, and methods.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications:
Certification in teaching or research is an asset.
