Rector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and respected leader to serve as our Rector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing spiritual guidance, leadership, and vision to our community, as well as overseeing the administration and management of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership:

– Provide spiritual guidance and support to members of the community
– Lead worship services, preach, and conduct sacraments
– Develop and implement programs to foster spiritual growth and development

Leadership and Vision:

– Provide overall leadership and vision for the institution
– Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve institutional goals
– Foster a sense of community and collaboration among staff, faculty, and students

Administration and Management:

– Oversee the administration and management of the institution
– Supervise and evaluate senior staff and faculty members
– Manage the institution’s budget and resources

Community Engagement:

– Build and maintain relationships with the wider community
– Represent the institution in local, national, and international forums
– Foster partnerships and collaborations with other institutions and organizations

Requirements:

Qualifications:

– Advanced degree in theology, divinity, or a related field
– Ordination or equivalent in a recognized denomination or faith tradition
– Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a faith-based institution or organization

Skills:

– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
– Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
– Experience with budget management and financial planning

Knowledge:

– Strong knowledge of theology, scripture, and faith traditions
– Understanding of the institution’s mission, values, and goals
– Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing faith-based institutions

Desired Qualifications:

– Experience with fundraising and development
– Familiarity with educational institutions and accreditation standards
– Experience with community engagement and outreach
