Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Vice Chancellor at Grand Asian University Sialkot. The successful candidate will provide strategic vision, leadership, and direction to the university, ensuring academic excellence, innovation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the university’s strategic plan, aligning with its mission and vision.
2. Academic Excellence: Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and research, ensuring high-quality programs and services.
3. University Governance: Provide leadership and guidance to the university’s governance structure, including the Board of Governors and Senate.
4. Resource Management: Oversee the management of university resources, including financial, human, and physical resources.
5. External Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government, industry, and community partners.
6. Fundraising and Development: Identify and secure funding opportunities to support university initiatives and growth.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure the implementation of quality assurance processes, maintaining accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

1. Ph.D.: Earned Ph.D. in a relevant field from a reputable institution.
2. Academic Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of academic experience, including experience in leadership and management roles.
3. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
5. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, making informed decisions that align with the university’s mission and vision.

Desired Qualifications

1. International Experience: Experience working in international higher education institutions or collaborations.
2. Industry Partnerships: Experience developing and maintaining partnerships with industry and external stakeholders.
3. Fundraising Experience: Proven track record of securing funding for university initiatives and projects.
4. Governance Experience: Experience serving on governing boards or committees in higher education.
