Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished educational leader to join our team as Head of Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for our educational programs, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

– Provide strategic leadership and vision for our educational programs, ensuring that they are aligned with our organization’s mission and goals
– Develop and implement educational strategies and plans, in collaboration with other senior leaders
– Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and development in our educational programs

Academic Excellence:

– Ensure that our educational programs are of the highest quality, and meet the needs of our students
– Develop and implement academic policies and procedures, in collaboration with other senior leaders
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our educational programs, and make recommendations for improvement

Teaching and Learning:

– Provide leadership and support for our teaching staff, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality educational programs
– Develop and implement teaching and learning strategies, in collaboration with other senior leaders
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our teaching and learning programs, and make recommendations for improvement

Student Experience:

– Ensure that our students have a positive and supportive learning experience, and that their needs are met
– Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and retention, in collaboration with other senior leaders
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our student support services, and make recommendations for improvement

Collaboration and Partnerships:

– Develop and maintain partnerships with other educational institutions, organizations, and stakeholders, to enhance our educational programs and services
– Collaborate with other senior leaders to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and development in our educational programs
– Represent our organization in local, national, and international forums, to promote our educational programs and services

Requirements:

Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in Education or a related field
– Minimum 10-15 years of experience in educational leadership, with a proven track record of success
– Strong knowledge of educational theory, policy, and practice

Skills:

– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with others, including teaching staff, students, and external stakeholders
– Experience with budget management and financial planning

Knowledge:

– Strong knowledge of educational theory, policy, and practice
– Understanding of educational leadership and management principles
– Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing education

Desired Qualifications:

– Experience with online and blended learning program development and delivery
– Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning platforms
– Certification in educational leadership or a related field
