Project Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Administration: Provide administrative support to project managers, including preparing and maintaining project documentation, reports, and records.
2. Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, managing project timelines, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
3. Communication: Communicate project information to team members, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, working closely with project managers to develop and implement risk management plans.
5. Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist with project budgeting and cost management, including tracking expenses, managing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, working closely with project managers to develop and implement quality assurance plans.
7. Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree: Earned bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, project management, or communications.
2. Project Management Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management, coordination, or a related field.
3. Project Management Certification: Possession of a project management certification, such as the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Desired Qualifications
1. Master’s Degree: Earned master’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, project management, or communications.
2. Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
3. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
4. Leadership Experience: Experience in leadership roles, such as team lead or project manager.
