IT Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to lead our IT team and oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
3. Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
4. Cybersecurity: Ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s data and technology assets, developing and implementing effective cybersecurity measures.
5. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage the IT budget, ensuring effective cost management and resource allocation.
6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and contract management.
7. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, developing and implementing effective governance processes.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science: Earned bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. IT Management Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of IT management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading IT teams and managing technology infrastructure.
3. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development.
4. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower IT teams.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, including executives, employees, and vendors.
Desired Qualifications
1. Master’s Degree in Computer Science: Earned master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. IT Certifications: Possession of relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA.
3. Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
4. DevOps Experience: Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
5. Leadership Certifications: Possession of leadership certifications, such as ITIL or PMP.
