Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Registrar Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing student records, coordinating course scheduling, and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including grades, transcripts, and diplomas.
2. Course Scheduling: Coordinate course scheduling, including creating and publishing course schedules, managing course enrollments, and resolving scheduling conflicts.
3. Registration and Enrollment: Manage student registration and enrollment processes, including processing registration requests, verifying student eligibility, and resolving enrollment issues.
4. Transcript and Diploma Processing: Process transcript and diploma requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to students and external institutions.
5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on registrar-related matters.
6. Data Management and Reporting: Manage and analyze data related to student enrollment, course scheduling, and academic progress, generating reports and insights to support institutional decision-making.
7. Compliance and Policy: Ensure compliance with institutional policies, federal and state regulations, and accreditation standards related to student records, course scheduling, and registration.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree: Earned bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, business, or public administration.
2. Registrar Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a registrar’s office or related field, with knowledge of student records management, course scheduling, and registration processes.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in student information systems, such as Banner, PeopleSoft, or Jenzabar, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and develop solutions.
5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree: Earned master’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, business, or public administration.
2. Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as the Certified Registrar (CR) or the Certified Associate Registrar (CAR).
3. Experience with SIS Systems: Experience with student information systems, such as Banner, PeopleSoft, or Jenzabar.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting: Experience with data analysis and reporting, including generating reports and insights to support institutional decision-making.
