Biomedical Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing innovative medical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Development: Design and develop medical devices, equipment, and software, including prosthetics, implants, and diagnostic equipment.
2. Research and Testing: Conduct research and testing to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medical devices and equipment.
3. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, clinicians, and researchers, to develop and implement medical solutions.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and international standards.
5. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot medical device and equipment issues, including identifying and resolving technical problems.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: Earned bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in biomedical engineering, medical device development, or a related field.
3. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD design, programming languages, and data analysis software.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
1. Advanced Degree: Earned Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or a related field.
2. Certifications: Possession of certifications, such as Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).
3. Industry Experience: Experience working in the medical device industry, including experience with FDA regulations and international standards.
4. Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects.
