Visiting Faculty – Management Sciences
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Visiting Faculty member in Management Sciences to join our team. The successful candidate will teach courses, conduct research, and participate in faculty-wide activities. This is a temporary, non-tenure track position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Management Sciences, including but not limited to:
– Organizational Behavior
– Human Resource Management
– Strategic Management
– Operations Management
2. Research: Conduct research in Management Sciences and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals.
3. Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.
4. Curriculum Development: Develop and refine courses in Management Sciences.
5. Student Advising: Advise students on academic and career matters.
Requirements:
1. Education: Earned doctorate in Management Sciences or a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Organizational Behavior).
2. Teaching Experience: Demonstrated teaching experience in Management Sciences.
3. Research Experience: Demonstrated research experience in Management Sciences.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience in Management Sciences.
2. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
3. Interdisciplinary Experience: Experience teaching or researching in interdisciplinary fields (e.g., Business Analytics, Sustainability).
