Associate Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Associate Project Manager assists in planning, organizing, and controlling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role supports the Project Manager and team members to deliver project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
2. Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and identifying and mitigating risks.
3. Communication: Communicate project information to stakeholders, including team members, sponsors, and customers.
4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, and identify areas for process improvement.
6. Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in managing project budgets, including tracking expenses, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2. Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
3. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a related industry.
4. Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and controlling projects.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
3. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
4. Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects.
