General Manager of Human Resources
Job Summary:
The General Manager of Human Resources will oversee the human resources function, including recruitment, talent management, benefits administration, and employee relations. The General Manager will provide strategic guidance and leadership to the HR team, and work closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
2. Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, talent management, and succession planning.
3. Benefits Administration: Develop and administer employee benefits programs.
4. Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations, including employee engagement, retention, and conflict resolution.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
6. HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, and records management.
7. Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: Significant experience in human resources, including experience in a leadership role.
3. Certification: Certification in human resources, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience with HR Technology: Experience with HR technology, including HRIS and talent management systems.
3. Experience with Diversity and Inclusion: Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives.
4. Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams.
