Assistant Professor Computer Engineering
Job Summary:
The Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the academic and professional development of students. The role involves curriculum development, active participation in departmental activities, and engagement with the broader academic and professional community.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in core areas of computer engineering such as digital systems, embedded systems, computer architecture, VLSI design, microprocessors, networking, and software engineering.

Develop innovative instructional materials, labs, and course content aligned with industry trends and accreditation standards.

Conduct original research in relevant areas of computer engineering, publish in high-impact journals, and present at international conferences.

Supervise student projects, theses, and research initiatives at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Participate in curriculum development, academic advising, and continuous assessment of teaching effectiveness.

Seek research funding through grants and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects.

Contribute to institutional development through committee work, community outreach, and industry collaboration.

Stay current with advancements in technology, pedagogy, and research within the field of computer engineering.
Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or ABD with near completion).

Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research, and scholarly activities.

Strong knowledge of fundamental and advanced topics in computer engineering.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Postdoctoral research or prior teaching experience at the university level.

A record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., ABET, NAAC).

Industry experience or collaboration with tech companies is a plus.
