Manager – University-Industry Relations
Position Overview:
The Manager of University-Industry Relations is responsible for building and strengthening partnerships between the university and industry sectors. The role focuses on creating collaborative opportunities for research, internships, placements, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer. This position plays a critical role in bridging academic knowledge with real-world industry applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with companies, organizations, and industry leaders.

Facilitate collaborative research projects, industrial consultancy, and innovation programs.

Coordinate student internship and placement opportunities with corporate partners.

Organize industry visits, guest lectures, workshops, and training sessions.

Promote faculty-industry interactions and knowledge exchange programs.

Support Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements with industries.

Identify funding opportunities and assist in writing proposals for industry-sponsored research.

Work closely with academic departments to align curriculum with industry needs.

Represent the university in industry forums, trade fairs, and networking events.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Education Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in university-industry collaboration, corporate relations, or career services.

Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of industry trends, research commercialization, and corporate expectations.

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Ability to work across departments and interact with both academic and corporate stakeholders.
