Lead Trainer
Position Overview:
The Lead Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and performance of employees, students, or trainees. This leadership role involves guiding other trainers, developing curriculum content, and ensuring training aligns with organizational goals or industry standards. The Lead Trainer acts as both an expert facilitator and a mentor to the training team.
Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:
Design and update comprehensive training materials, modules, manuals, and assessments based on organizational or academic requirements. -
Training Delivery:
Conduct engaging, interactive training sessions using various instructional techniques—online, in-person, or hybrid formats. -
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of trainers, ensuring consistency in delivery and quality across all training sessions. -
Needs Assessment:
Evaluate training needs through surveys, feedback, and performance data to identify knowledge gaps and skill development areas. -
Quality Assurance:
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, test results, and post-training assessments; make improvements as needed. -
Collaboration:
Coordinate with department heads, HR, academic coordinators, or clients to align training goals with organizational objectives. -
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain training records, schedules, and progress reports, and present regular updates to management or academic authorities. -
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and instructional techniques to improve training programs and methods.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field.

Proven experience as a trainer, instructional designer, or in a learning & development role.

Strong leadership, organizational, and mentoring skills.

Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication abilities.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation techniques.

Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), training software, and digital tools.
