Academic Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Officer to provide administrative support to our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating academic programs, managing student records, and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Program Coordination: Coordinate academic programs, including course scheduling, room bookings, and faculty support.
2. Student Record Management: Manage student records, including grades, transcripts, and academic progress.
3. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, including preparing reports, managing budgets, and coordinating events.
4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance.
5. Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures.
6. Data Analysis: Analyze data to inform academic decision-making and improve student outcomes.
7. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Requirements
1. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an academic setting, preferably in a similar role.
3. Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
4. Knowledge: Knowledge of academic policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Desired Qualifications
1. Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or related field.
2. Experience in a Similar Role: Experience working in a similar role in a university or college setting.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in student information systems, learning management systems, and other academic software.
