Associate Professor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Professor to join our academic faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching, research, and academic service within the [specific field of study]. Key Responsibilities:

  4. Community and Professional Engagement:

    • Maintain an active role in academic and professional communities through involvement in conferences, professional societies, and public outreach.
    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, research partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Engage in consultancy or outreach activities that align with the department’s objectives.
    • Serve as a reviewer for academic journals and conferences, contributing to the peer-review process.
  5. Administrative and Other Duties:

    • Assist with departmental administrative tasks such as course scheduling, student evaluations, and faculty recruitment.
    • Ensure that students receive timely and constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.
    • Contribute to institutional initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and research quality.
    • Participate in the development of grant proposals and the dissemination of research outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  1. Education and Qualifications:

    • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in [specific field of study].
    • Evidence of significant academic and professional achievement, including a strong publication record.
  2. Experience:

    • At least [5-7] years of experience in higher education, including experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
