Biology Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to inspire and educate students through engaging and inquiry-based science instruction. The ideal candidate will foster a love for life sciences, critical thinking, and scientific curiosity, while delivering lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum standards and values.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons that are aligned with the curriculum (e.g., IB, Cambridge, AP, or national).

Use a variety of teaching strategies, including experiments, models, simulations, and inquiry-based approaches.

Prepare students for internal and external assessments through clear instruction and targeted support.

Differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning styles and abilities.

Incorporate real-world applications and current scientific developments into teaching.

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom and lab environment.

Assess student learning using formative and summative tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in reporting and parent conferences.

Collaborate with other science teachers and departments on interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.

Ensure laboratory safety protocols and manage science resources and equipment responsibly.

Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Valid teaching certification/license
-
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience (preferably in Biology or general Science)

Strong content knowledge and a passion for Biology education

Experience with lab-based teaching and practical science instruction

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning strategies
Preferred:
-
Experience with international curricula (IB MYP/DP, IGCSE, A-Level, or AP Biology)

Experience in an international or multicultural school setting
-
IB or Cambridge training/certification (if applicable)

Familiarity with educational technology and virtual lab tools
