Controller of Examinations
Job Summary:
The Controller of Examinations will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of examinations, including planning, organization, and administration. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Examination Planning:
Plan and coordinate examinations, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and logistics.
1. Examination Organization:
Oversee the organization of examination materials, including question papers, answer scripts, and marking schemes.
1. Examination Administration:
Administer examinations, including supervising invigilators, handling queries, and resolving issues.
1. Results Processing:
Oversee the processing of examination results, including marking, grading, and moderation.
1. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with the institution’s policies and procedures, and that the integrity of the examination process is maintained.
1. Communication:
Communicate with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders regarding examination arrangements, results, and other related matters.
1. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of examination results, including marks, grades, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, administration, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in examinations administration, education, or a related field.
1. Skills:
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, administration, or a related field.
1. Professional Certification:
Professional certification in examinations administration, education, or a related field.
1. Experience with Examination Software:
Experience with examination software, such as examination management systems, online proctoring tools, and other related technologies.
