Controller of Examinations

Job Summary:

The Controller of Examinations is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and administration of all examinations within the institution. This includes ensuring the integrity and security of the examination process, managing examination schedules, and coordinating with faculty and staff to ensure smooth delivery of examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Examination Planning and Organization
1. Plan and organize all aspects of examinations, including scheduling, venue allocation, and logistics.
2. Develop and implement examination policies and procedures to ensure fairness, integrity, and security.
3. Coordinate with faculty and staff to ensure that examination materials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner.

Examination Administration
1. Oversee the administration of examinations, including the distribution of examination materials, supervision of examination invigilators, and collection of examination scripts.
2. Ensure that all examinations are conducted in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
3. Investigate and resolve any examination-related issues or irregularities.

Examination Results and Records
1. Oversee the processing and release of examination results.
2. Ensure that examination records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
3. Provide examination results and statistics to faculty and staff as required.

Communication and Liaison
1. Communicate examination information to students, faculty, and staff through various channels, including email, website, and social media.
2. Liaise with faculty and staff to ensure that examination-related issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
3. Represent the institution at examination-related meetings and events.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Related Field: A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
2. Experience in Examination Administration: Experience in examination administration, either in an educational institution or a related field.
3. Strong Organizational and Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
4. Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Education or Related Field: A master’s degree in education or a related field.
2. Certification in Examination Administration: Certification in examination administration, such as the Certified Examination Administrator (CEA).
3. Experience with Examination Software: Experience with examination software, such as examination management systems.
4. Bilingual or Multilingual: Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
