Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to fill the role of Dean. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and management to the college or faculty, ensuring academic excellence, innovation, and relevance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve academic excellence and innovation.
2. Academic Management: Oversee the academic programs, including curriculum development, accreditation, and assessment.
3. Faculty Management: Lead and manage the faculty, including recruitment, development, and evaluation.
4. Budget Management: Manage the college or faculty budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
5. Fundraising: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support college or faculty initiatives.
6. Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with external stakeholders, including industry, community, and government.
7. Student Experience: Enhance the student experience through innovative programs and services.
Requirements
1. Terminal Degree: Earned terminal degree in a relevant field.
2. Academic Experience: Significant academic experience, including teaching, research, and service.
3. Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, including experience in academic administration.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
