Deputy Director of Administration
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Deputy Director of Administration to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Director of Administration in the overall management of the administrative functions of the organization, including human resources, finance, facilities, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Management: Support the Director of Administration in the management of the administrative functions of the organization, including human resources, finance, facilities, and operations.
2. Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the administrative functions of the organization.
3. Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for the administrative functions of the organization.
4. Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in the development and management of budgets for the administrative functions of the organization.
5. Human Resources Management: Support the management of human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
6. Facilities Management: Oversee the management of facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
7. Operations Management: Oversee the management of operations, including procurement, logistics, and supply chain management.
8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to the organization, including compliance with laws and regulations.
9. Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
Requirements
1. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in administration, including experience in human resources, finance, facilities, and operations.
3. Skills: Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
4. Knowledge: Knowledge of administrative principles, practices, and procedures, including human resources, finance, facilities, and operations.
Desired Qualifications
1. Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
2. Certifications: Certifications in administration, such as Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Certified Public Manager (CPM).
3. Experience in a Similar Industry: Experience working in a similar industry, such as government, non-profit, or private sector.
4. Leadership Experience: Experience leading and managing teams, including experience in strategic planning, policy development, and budgeting.
