Deputy Director –QEC
Position Overview:
The Deputy Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) supports the Director in promoting and ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement within the institution. This role involves coordinating accreditation processes, developing quality standards, monitoring academic and administrative performance, and facilitating compliance with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.

Coordinate internal and external accreditation processes (e.g., HEC, ABET, NAAC).

Collect, analyze, and report data related to academic performance, research output, and administrative efficiency.

Develop and review quality standards, benchmarks, and assessment tools.

Facilitate faculty and staff training on quality assurance best practices.

Monitor compliance with institutional policies and accreditation requirements.

Lead or participate in self-assessment reports, audits, and quality review committees.

Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across departments.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and accreditation agencies.

Prepare and present periodic quality reports to senior management and governing bodies.
Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Education, Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

Experience in quality assurance, academic administration, or institutional accreditation.

Knowledge of national and international accreditation standards and frameworks.

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative staff.

Familiarity with data management and quality assessment software/tools.
