Deputy Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Deputy Director to support the Director in leading our organization. The Deputy Director will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies, managing daily operations, and ensuring the organization meets its goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Assist the Director in developing and implementing organizational strategies, goals, and objectives.
2. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to policies.
3. Leadership and Management: Supervise and guide senior staff members, providing coaching, development opportunities, and performance evaluations.
4. Financial Management: Assist in developing and managing budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, government agencies, and community partners.
6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
7. Communication: Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies, ensuring effective messaging and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration, or non-profit management.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or public sector organization.
3. Leadership and Management: Proven track record of successful leadership and management, with experience in strategic planning, operational management, and team development.
4. Communication and Interpersonal: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
5. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate risks.
