Director of Admissions

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Director of Admissions. The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of admissions strategies to attract and enroll top talent, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive admissions strategies to achieve enrollment goals.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the admissions team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
3. Recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment plans to attract prospective students, including travel, events, and digital marketing.
4. Application Review: Oversee the application review process, ensuring timely and fair review of applications.
5. Communications: Develop and implement effective communications strategies to engage prospective students, families, and other stakeholders.
6. Data Analysis: Analyze admissions data to inform strategy and decision-making.
7. Budget Management: Manage the admissions budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
8. Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with academic departments, faculty, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as education, marketing, or communications.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field.
3. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform decision-making.

Desired Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in a related field, such as education, marketing, or communications.
2. Admissions Experience: Experience in admissions leadership, including experience with admissions software and technology.
3. Recruitment Experience: Experience in recruitment, including experience with digital marketing and social media.
4. Data Analysis Experience: Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including experience with admissions data and metrics.
