Education Counselor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Education Counselor to provide guidance and support to students, helping them achieve their academic and career goals. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, personal, and social concerns.
2. Assess students’ academic and personal needs, developing personalized education plans.
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
4. Facilitate workshops and presentations on education and career topics.
5. Maintain accurate records and reports.
6. Stay current with education and career trends.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in counseling, Education, or related field.
2. Certification or licensure (e.g., LPC, NCC).
3. 2+ years of experience in education counseling.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with career assessment tools.
2. Knowledge of education technology.
3. Familiarity with special needs populations.
