Elementary School Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a love of learning in young students and have a strong understanding of child development, inquiry-based learning, and curriculum integration. Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons across core subject areas, with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning.

Develop and implement transdisciplinary units of inquiry in alignment with the PYP framework.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.

Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and guide instruction.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of all students.

Collaborate with colleagues in planning, assessment, and school initiatives.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.

Foster the development of the IB learner profile attributes and approaches to learning.

Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement efforts.

Supervise students during non-instructional times such as recess, lunch, and field trips.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area

Valid teaching certification/license
-
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB PYP setting

Knowledge of or experience with inquiry-based and student-centered teaching practices
-
Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Culturally responsive and committed to inclusive education
Preferred:

IB PYP training or certification

Experience in international schools or multicultural environments

Proficiency with educational technology for teaching and assessment
