English Teacher
Job Summary:
The English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to students in a classroom setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong passion for teaching and learning, and the ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching:
Teach English language and literature to students in a classroom setting.
1. Lesson Planning:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
1. Assessment:
Assess student progress and understanding through a variety of methods, including quizzes, tests, and written assignments.
1. Classroom Management:
Create and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes student learning and engagement.
1. Parent Communication:
Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and involve them in the educational process.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience teaching English language and literature.
1. Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong passion for teaching and learning.
Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
1. Teaching Certification:
Teaching certification in English language and literature.
1. Experience working with diverse populations:
Experience working with diverse populations, including students with disabilities, English language learners, and students from low-income backgrounds.
