Faculty Staff
Job Summary:
The Faculty Staff is a vital part of the academic team, responsible for teaching, research, and service to the university and the profession. Faculty Staff members are expected to provide high-quality instruction, mentor students, and contribute to the development of their department and the university.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise.
Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials, including course notes, assignments, and assessments.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
1. Research:
Conduct original research in their field, including the development of research proposals, securing funding, and publishing research outcomes in high-quality journals and conferences.
Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to develop and conduct research projects.
1. Service:
Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide initiatives and activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Provide service to the university and the broader community.
Requirements:
1. Education:
A master’s degree in the relevant field.
A doctoral degree is preferred.
1. Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching and research, preferably in a university setting.
Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment.
1. Skills:
Strong teaching and communication skills.
Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
